Jakarta, Liputan9.id – Presiden Republik Indonesia Ir. Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menjadi pemimpin negara pertama yang mengucapkan selamat kepada perdana menteri (PM) baru Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, usai dilantik pada Kamis (24/11/2022).
Anwar mengunggah video yang memperlihatkan momennya dihubungi Jokowi di media sosial twitternya.
“Terima kasih Presiden Indonesia Bapak Joko Widodo yang menjadi kepala negara pertama yang menghubungi saya mengucapkan tahniah,” kicau Anwar Ibrahim dalam postingan di akun twitternya yang mengunggah video pembicaraannya dengan Presiden Jokowi, Kamis (24/11/2022).
Dalam postingannya, Anwar menegaskan bahwa Indonesia merupakan sahabat sejati Malaysia dan mengharapkan hubungan dagang serta bisnis, investasi, budaya, dan isu pekerja dapat ditingkatkan. “Persahabatan kedua-dua semestinya diperkukuh. #DemiPertiwi,” demikian postingan Anwar.
Dalam percakapan itu, Jokowi terdengar memuji Anwar sebagai sosok yang dikenal luas dan dihormati rakyat Indonesia. (Red)
